We were approached by DSW’s then CEO Roger Rawlins to help script the narrative behind the development of a parent IPO of recent acquisition mergers, placing DSW alongside the Camuto Group, The Shoe Co. and ABG. Tasked with not only creating the identity, but the narrative behind “why” in order to convince the B.O.D. - Simple, to the point, and with conviction. It worked. We then went through a lengthy name generation and logo identity excercise, settling in on the db. This multi-billion dollar merger program was a great lesson in narrative as a means to an outcome.
